Roof large-area light collector GALAXY

It is produced in two sizes, 1200 and 1800 mm.

• Inside of the collector is provided with reflective optical layer with silver.
• Antireflective glass Clearvision with nanolayer, repelling impurities.
• Optical high reflective element concentrates the light into the pipe.

Reflective sun pipe

The inside reflective layer is made of silver and silicon oxide, which are fixed by chemical vapor deposition in a vacuum. The layer mustn’t crack or peel or be warped by changes of temperature and humidity. Connecting the light tube

to the flexible elbow, isolation element Blue Performance and a dimmer is easy due to systematic connections, which are standard part of package.

• Reflection of reflexive layer of the pipe 99,8%.
• Ray diffusion during reflection in 45 angle in pipe < 6%.
• The basic material is aluminum, 99,7%.
• Overall maximum distance of sun pipe up to 80m, includes 2 adjustable elbows 90 for the direction change of conduction. The conduction of the tube can be vertical or horizontal without any influence on power.
• The loss of light during the use of the element: within 10 meters 0,5%, more than 10 meters 0,7%.

Adjustable elbow

The elbow with adjustable angle in range of 0 – 50° is used for the direction change of conduction of the pipe. The flexible elbow is easy to connect to another elbow with the same diameter, the pipe, insulation element Blue Performance and a dimmer. The inside reflective layer is made of silver and silicon oxide, which are fixed by chemical vapor deposition in a vacuum. The layer mustn’t crack or peel or be warped by changes of temperature and humidity.

• Reflection of reflexive layer of the pipe 99,8%.
• Ray diffusion during reflection in 45 angle in pipe < 6%.
• The basic material is aluminum, 99,7%.
• The loss of light during the use of the element: adjustable elbow 45° - 2%, adjustable elbow 90° - 4%.

Ceiling diffuser

The ceiling diffuser is a light diffuser, which equally spreads light in the room and avoids glaring in interior. Quality ceiling diffuser is made of glass, which doesn’t turn yellow and transmits the light without any loss of its intensity or color change.

The diffuser is connected to a 200mm long pipe and it is easy to connect it to another sun pipe, insulation element Blue Performance, flexible elbow or a dimmer.

• It is made of sodium-potassium glass.
• White color trim.
• The color of RAL trim can be custom-made.
• Individual surface adjustment in any decor provided by a customer.

Blue Performance

Thermal insulation element

The insulation element prevents thermal leaks through the pipe from the interior during winter. On the other hand, in summer, it prevents interior overheating due to high temperature outside.

Blue Performance prevents water condensation in the space of the pipe and following water splashing into the diffuser and the ceiling construction.

It is easy to connect the light tube to insulation element Blue Performance and a dimmer.

• Insulating double/triple glass filled with argon
• Bearing structural element made of Styrofoam
• Coefficient of thermal permeability double glass U 0,6W/m2K
• Coefficient of thermal permeability of triple glass U 0,4 W/m2.K

Additional LED light

It is used for illumination in the time of year when it is dark outside. Your sun tunnel Lightway will do the function of the sun tunnel as well as the ceiling light.

LED strap will be easily stuck in two threads on the inside of pipe above the ceiling diffuser. 

Standard chromaticity of the light is warm white.

The power of LED light for individual types/sizes of sun tunnels:

• Typ 200, 300, 400 - power 40W
• Typ 600 a 800 - power 60W

dimmer

The shaft clamp inside of the pipe closes the supply of the light into the interior. It is easy to connect the dimmer to the reflective pipe, adjustable elbow, isolation element Blue Performance or the diffuser.

Installation

The GALAXY series can be installed on flat roofs.

Every package includes all components, assembly accessories for the complete assembly. There are mostly different types of roof flashings for different types of roofs and roofings.

The additional installation kit contains assembly components necessary for successful and quality sun tunnel assembly. It includes: diffuser foils, flexible steam-tight foils, flexible tape, bitumen sealant.

The assembly kit is not automatically included in the order. The workers usually have their own tools and assembly materials. It’d be useless to pay extra for the assembly kit in this case.
